After I catch a fish on a certain fly, I often change the fly, in order to see if there are other flies that will also work.  This is counter intuitive to many.  Most of my friends stop changing their fly once they figure out that a fly works.

This category will include helpful tips on flies that are particularly effective, and tips on how to fish that fly.

Fly fishing can be a little intimidating because of the gear that is available.  I will give my 2 cents worth on gear that I find useful, and let you know what I find to not be useful too.
