I learned to fly fish and tie flies from my Uncle Harry when I was in 8th grade. He gave me an old bamboo fly rod, a tying vise, some furs, feathers, hooks, and a passion for this sport was born.
Lee Ann, my wife, has been supportive of my fly fishing business and passion, and she loves to travel.

I am a hopeless fly fishing addict, and Lee Ann loves to travel and photograph, and we enjoy sharing what we learn with others.
I drive my fly fishing friends nuts! After I catch a fish on a certain fly, I often change the fly, in order to see if there are other flies that will also work. This is counter intuitive to many. Most of my friends stop changing their fly once they figure out that a fly works. Why do I do this? To share this information with others!

Fly fishing can be a little intimidating because of the overwhelming amount of gear that is available. Here, I give my 2 cents worth on gear that I find useful.
